Rotary Georgians Visit Annapolis

Annapolis, MD (Feb. 5, 2017) --The Rotary Clubs of Annapolis and Parole recently welcomed six city council members from the country of Georgia who visited here Feb. 3-10 courtesy of the Open World Program and the host clubs. Open World brings leaders to the United States to learn how our democracy operates. The visitors stayed at Rotarian homes and met with government leaders including the Annapolis mayor, the county council and county executive, and state legislative leaders. They also met with judges from the Maryland Court of Appeals, Historic Annapolis and U.S. Naval Academy leaders, and the editor of The Capital.
