Annapolis, MD (June 22, 2015) – The following recent graduates of Broadneck High School in Annapolis have each received a $1,000 scholarship from the Rotary Club of Annapolis. The colleges they plan to attend and their interests are included.
1. Graeme B. Joyce, Brigham Young University, computer science.
2. Andrew “Drew” McMenamin, The University of Maryland, computer science.
3. John “Jack” O’Keefe, The University of Maryland’s Advanced Cyber Security Experience for Students Honors College, chemical engineering.
4. Claire W. Whitaker, Wellesley College, math, botany, and art.
Scholarship applicants meet certain criteria including a commitment to community service as well as intention to attend an accredited college or university. The Rotary Club of Annapolis presents a total of $4,000 annually to Annapolis-area high school graduates.
