Annapolis Rotary Club receives District Awards

From left, Rotary Club District 7620 Governor Jay Kumar and Rotary International President Elect Kalyan Banerjee congratulate Rachael Blair, international lane director of the Rotary Club of Annapolis, upon the club’s receiving a presidential citation and the Gold Award for outstanding accomplishments in five major categories. The club was recognized for its work in community, vocational, international, and club services and for its support for the Rotaract and Interact organizations for young people. The awards were presented at the annual District Conference held April 30 in Ellicott City. The Rotary Club of Annapolis is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2011.
