Rotary Club of Annapolis and Annapolis Yacht Club will co-sponsor a Blood Drive on Thursday,
March 31st from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Annapolis Yacht Club’s Activity Center, 314 Sixth Street.
Interested donors should register in advance using the QR code below to schedule a 20-minute time
slot. Walk-ins may be possible but could require a short wait.
There is an urgent need for blood donations. The typical blood donation process takes just 20-30
minutes, and includes a mini physical, medical interview and bleed time. Each pint donated can
potentially save up to three lives.
Donors will be screened onsite and must be between 17 and 74 years old; or 16 with parental
consent; in good health; and at least 110 lbs. Individuals can give blood while taking most
medications and are encouraged to start eating iron-rich foods one week in advance. All donations
benefit Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center serving our community.
